Jesus was more than a mere human who lived for 33 years over 2000 years ago. Not knowing the truth about Jesus Christ and the world to come is the biggest mistake anyone can make in their life.
These fifteen Bible verses for understanding Christ are for those living in doubt, or perhaps ignorance of Jesus Christ and His role in your eternal future. God created us. Humans are not perfect. Being a good person is not enough. Mankind broke covenants made with God throughout the Old Testament many times. The New Testament presents Christ, Immanuel or God with us, and provides the new covenant to end all covenants.
What Jesus Said About His Purpose
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Mark 2:17 (KJV)
All are Sinners with the Opportunity for Salvation

Jesus Christ Came to Earth as God in the Flesh

Christ Will Return to Judge Everyone

Your Eternal Destiny is in Your Hands

Jesus Christ is the Messiah promised in the Old Testament. Jesus is God, Who as the Son of God came in the flesh for the remission of sin; He was crucified and died for us, was raised on the third day, and sits at the right hand of God waiting to return.

You’re still alive because you’re reading this, so it’s not too late. You don’t need a ceremony. Pray sincerely to God beginning with “I am a sinner and repent of my sin. If you prefer less formality when praying, simply admit you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior including His sacrifice, death, and resurrection.
